cog, it's late so I'm gonna not sugar coat this. I think you're wasting your time on designing these kids generic. I think your art is delightfully eccentric. Madcap. Bizarre. I think you're Dr. Seuss and need to stop trying to be Peanuts. You'll note that I chose people who were both successes, because even constraining yourself like this you do it well. These kids are great and if you keep on going with them I'd still read the book, but I'd rather see you try some crazy kids. Because kids are nuts. Go wild.
