feb daily sketches

That Knope is fantastic! I attempted to draw her for Inktober. She has one of the most difficult faces I've ever attempted. Really really good job there.

y2jenn and Ty, I've been a HUGE fan of Amy Poehler since the days of UCB and Conan OBrian skits. And I just wanted to capture her cheerfulness without coming off like I'm mocking her, because it's easy to just over do her square jaw line or baggy under her eyes. And also she's freaking awesome.
themrock, yeah there's a specific Ocelot design I've been doing for like the past 10 years, and this is the same one but now with the new redesign of the character..... I think 4 is the only one I never did this design because he never holds a revolver.
well, I haven't drawn the past 2 days, I had a good valentines' date and booze and dog sitting and lovely weather to bike and hiking and more booze and I got a couple video games also Monster Hunter 4 and Majora's Mask 3d. It was an excellent weekend.
But here's some sketches of stuff I was doing.

ty - thanks, but nah, I finally got an extra dollar to my paycheck but most of that goes to bills minimum wage isn't glamorous especially when I do a lot of over time and am standing all day. But also I don't care if anyone see my work, I do it more for myself. There's a lot about the art process no one ever sees or understands while working. Like when the water swirls with paint or inks bleed into paper. A finished piece isn't the same as the experience making it..... plus also I'd rather blow my money on booze.

Gizmo... Just awesome! Those eyes are perfect and I love the forms all around!
